What is a wickless candle?
A wickless candle is just that- a candle without a flame!
It's probably more accurate to think of them as a self-contained wax melt... but rather than break off a few pieces to place in a wax/tart melter, the entire wickless candle (with its container) is meant to be placed on a candle warmer.
Candle warmers can be purchased many places inexpensively.
Why would you want a wickless candle?
- Pets, small children, and even some living arrangements can make open flames undesirable
- Cleaning up after wax melts can be messy
- Botanical and other aesthetic additives cannot ignite
